Email: eloisa@senderoscounselling.com.au

Objectives and Background

Senderos Counselling Pty Ltd is committed to providing the best service in a timely manner and aims to accommodate your needs.

Unfortunately, when a client cancels without adequate notice, it prevents another client from being served. This cancellation policy is in place to respect the time commitment of all parties. It outlines the process for requesting a cancellation and applicable fees. This policy ensures fairness to both the business and clients who might otherwise have utilized the appointment slot.

Senderos Counselling Pty Ltd is implementing a clear and straightforward cancellation policy to ensure transparency about any costs associated with engaging our services.

Cancellation Process

We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel your appointment. However, due to limited appointment availability, we request that cancellations be made with adequate notice to allow us to fill the appointment slot.

You may cancel by contacting us via:

Notice Period

  • A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellation.

  • Please notify us prior to your scheduled appointment to inform us of any changes or cancellations.

  • If adequate notice is not provided, or no notice is given, a cancellation fee (see below) will apply for the missed appointment.

Late Arrivals

  • Late arrivals will be accommodated only within the remaining time of the scheduled session.

  • If you arrive too late to proceed with the appointment, it may need to be rescheduled or canceled, which could incur a cancellation fee.

Cancellation Fee

  • The cancellation fee is the full agreed session rate.

  • Cancellation fees will be invoiced for payment.

  • Any deposit paid for the appointment may be deducted from the cancellation fee (if applicable).

  • The cancellation fee is the sole responsibility of the client and must be paid in full within 48 hours after invoicing.

Acceptable Circumstances for Waiving Cancellation Fees

Senderos Counselling Pty Ltd understands that emergencies and uncontrollable circumstances may occur. In such cases, cancellation fees may be waived.

  • Waiving of cancellation fees requires approval from the practice director.

  • Examples of acceptable circumstances include emergencies or unforeseen events.

Refund Policy

If a cancellation notice is provided prior to the scheduled appointment, Senderos Counselling Pty Ltd will refund any deposit received for the booking.
